Week 1 March 17, 2011 was my for the first time day of cohort OL 47. I was feeling apprehensive active concourse in all of my bran-new manakinmates and the overall structure of the cohort. I wasnt sure if the instructor was passing to be tight or if the single emerge was spill to be to a fault tough to handle with my work schedule. I couldnt support but think that people in my course of action were departure to be unfriendly or worse, what if they impression I was unintelligent. As I got to talk with e actuallyone in the 10 minutes in the lead mannikin I was relieved to assure that everything I feared was be in my own crazy mind. My classmates were all hospitable and very polite. They all were all open about their lives and past experiences, to a fault their hopes and dreams. As the beginning of class approached I couldnt menses wondering what the actual teacher was going to be desire but this would have to wait until week 2. Week 1 was goin g to be an introductory week, were we would go over computer technology concepts with an IT specialist from the University. The computer technology parcel out of the class consisted of navigating Campus Cruiser and some in-depth research tools. In Campus Cruiser we intentional how to access our email, check our grades and review our class schedules.

For the research portion we learned how to use Fresno Pacifics library work to look up articles and then free them to a design called RefWorks. RefWorks would then take these resources and create a works cited scallywag for us. This will be extremel y of import when we start our thesis proje! ct come week 5. This concludes week 1. Week 2 Week 2 was our first real week of class with our professor. Mrs. Veiss informed us that this class session would be the tho one we would get out early. Normally class would go from 6:00 to 10:00 pm, but today we would be out by 9:00 pm. She stress to us that she didnt emergency to overwhelm us on the first day.
